Page, Arizona 2012 at Horseshoe Bend : For the Annular Sun Eclipse
This was my first Annular Sun Eclipse ever! So happens I was in Arizona when my wonderful friend told me all about it. This is a very rare opportunity to witness the moon eclipsing the sun, leaving only a tiny ring around, while the sun was setting makes it an even rarer event indeed. Page, Arizona was particularly special with the mountains eclipsing the other part of the sun while the moon eclipsed the other part as the sun sets below the mountains.
I only had my compact camera as I wasn’t prepared for it with special lens filter. So pardon the crappy images.
